I taught French at Mumbai Grammar School in Mumbai from 1998 to 2006. Most days I taught first-year students, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
