Kamau Mukasa Maina

Teacher at Northside Secondary School, loves art

I taught art at Northside Secondary School in Kampala from 1982 to 2017. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I never once raised my voice. Over the years I had 1,650 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Kamau: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
