Kamau Macharia Simiyu
Runs the youth clubs in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Silverlake Food Bank
- Since 2003
- English, Swahili
I've volunteered with Silverlake Food Bank since 2003. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 24 people now. Everyone brings something.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Kamau
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
Causes
What gifts mean to Kamau: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
