I've spent 37 years as a lecturer in sociology at Valley View State University in Nairobi. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I fix old bicycles.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Kamau
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Kamau: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
