I coached hockey at Nakuru Boxing Gym from 1986 to 2008. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
