I've coached cross country at Nairobi Athletic Club since 1984. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Kamau: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
