Kamal Hassan Cherif
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇸🇦 Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia
- Little Dammam Repairs
- Since 2006
- English, Arabic
I've worked in thatching since 2006. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 620 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Kamal
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Kamal: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
