Kalliopi Oikonomou
14 years teaching biology in Piraeus
- 🇬🇷 Piraeus, Attica, Greece
- 2008 to 2023
- English, Greek
For 15 years I was the biology teacher at Piraeus Technical College. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Kalliopi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
