Kaleb Getachew Zewdie
Sitar player and teacher in Mekelle
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Mekelle Quartet
- 2001 to 2012
- English, Amharic
I play sitar and classical. I started in 2001 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Kaleb
I wrote my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Kaleb: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
