I teach computer science at Baobab Girls' School in Mumbai since 1979. Most days I teach Year 10, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I've had 1,650 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Kajal
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Kajal: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 1991. I remember you. Greetings from Boulogne-Billancourt.
