Kajal M. Sawant
Choir director and singer
- 🇮🇳 Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Prayagraj Music School
- Since 1985
- English, Marathi
I play gospel and tabla. I started in 1985 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 7 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Kajal
I write my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Kajal: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
