Kajal Deshmukh
Self-taught watercolor artist
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Phoenix Gallery
- Since 2017
- English, Gujarati
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 2017 at Phoenix Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Phoenix Gallery, which keeps me honest.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Kajal
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Kajal: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
