I coached athletics at Chennai Central Youth Club from 2011 to 2024. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Kajal
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

You coached me in 2015. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Ankara.
