Kai Salazar
Mentor in teaching and design
- 🇺🇸 Reading, Pennsylvania, United States
- Reading Association
- Since 1987
- English, French
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 940 people through Reading Association.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Kai: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
