I taught economics at Pioneer University from 1995 to 2013, and supervised 60 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Kai
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Kai: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
