I'm a mentor in first-generation students. I've spent my career as a waiter and now give some of that back.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.

What gifts mean to Kai: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
