Kagiso W. Nel

Saxophone player and teacher in Pretoria

  • 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Pretoria Ensemble
  • Since 1983
  • English, Zulu
I play saxophone and tabla. I started in 1983 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Kagiso

I write my first song when I was 15. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Kagiso: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
