Kagiso S. Cele
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
- The Acacia Shop
- 2003 to 2015
- English
I've worked in thatching from 2003 to 2015. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 380 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 19 years later for another job.

What gifts mean to Kagiso: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
