Tiling, done properly
- 🇯🇵 Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan
- Since 2016
- Japanese, English
I've worked in tiling since 2016. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 480 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Junko: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
