Junko Aoi Yamazaki

French teacher at Victory Girls' School, 1985 to 2023

I taught French and physical education at Victory Girls' School, Sapporo. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Junko

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
