Junior D. Walker
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇯🇲 Kingston, Kingston, Jamaica
- Sunrise Shop
- 1986 to 2017
- English
I've worked in bicycle repair from 1986 to 2017. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,050 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.
More about Junior
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Junior: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
