I taught social studies at Windsor Secondary School in Los Angeles from 1994 to 2012. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I never turned anyone away.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
