Jumoke Yewande Oyelaran
Retired drama teacher from Acacia Technical College

I taught drama at Acacia Technical College in Lagos from 1986 to 2000. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Jumoke
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Jumoke: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
