Jumoke Shittu
Painter, potter and teacher at Lagos Pottery
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Pottery
- 1999 to 2018
- English, Yoruba
I work mostly in street art, sometimes embroidery. My first show was in 1999 at Lagos Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Jumoke
I've had 3 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
