Jumoke Ife Bello
Writing mentor, Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Association
- 2000 to 2015
- English, Yoruba
For 15 years I've mentored people in writing and first-generation students. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Jumoke
If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.

What gifts mean to Jumoke: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
