Jumoke Blessing Obi
Self-taught printmaking artist
- 🇳🇬 Nsukka, Enugu, Nigeria
- Little Crown Pottery
- 1981 to 2014
- English
I work mostly in printmaking, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1981 at Little Crown Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Little Crown Pottery, which keeps me honest.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Jumoke
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Jumoke: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
