Juma Omondi Shayo

Taught music at Maple Ridge Technical College

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Maple Ridge Technical College
  • 2012 to 2022
  • English, Swahili
For ten years I was the music teacher at Maple Ridge Technical College. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Juma: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
