Juma Dennis Simiyu

Poet and teacher

  • 🇹🇿 Mwanza, Mwanza, Tanzania
  • Mwanza Gazette
  • 1996 to 2018
  • English, Swahili
I write fiction. My work has appeared in Mwanza Gazette and a few places that have long since closed. I write best early in the morning with a pot of tea. I make terrible puns. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Juma

Some of my pieces still make me wince. Some, I'm proud of.
