Juma David Kiptoo

Geography and design and technology teacher, Mbale

  • 🇺🇬 Mbale, Eastern Region, Uganda
  • 1990 to 2025
  • English, Swahili
For 35 years I was the geography teacher at Elmwood Girls' School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I never once raised my voice. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Juma

If you were in my primary school children class, you probably remember the rainy sports day.

You taught me geography in 1996 at Elmwood Girls' School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly
