I taught history at Colorado Springs Girls' School in Colorado Springs from 2009 to 2021. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 260 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
