Juliet Khadija Akinwale
Drums player and teacher in Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Sakura Music School
- 1987 to 2014
- English
I play drums and classical. I started in 1987 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 20 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Juliet: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
