Juliana Guimarães

Self-taught woodcarving artist

  • 🇧🇷 Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil
  • Since 1984
  • Portuguese
I'm a woodcarving artist based in Belo Horizonte. I've been making things since 1984 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I walk the dog by the river. I'm still learning every day.

More about Juliana

I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
