For 30 years I've run the athletics program at Lowell Athletic Club in Lowell. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
