I've spent 47 years as a lecturer in anthropology at Acacia Polytechnic in Los Angeles. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a nurse and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Julian: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
