Julián J. Lara
Professor of mathematics, Iztapalapa Polytechnic
- 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Iztapalapa Polytechnic
- 1985 to 2020
- Spanish, English
I taught mathematics at Iztapalapa Polytechnic from 1985 to 2020, and supervised 44 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a bus driver and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Julián
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Julián: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.

You supervised my thesis in 2007 and never once made me feel small.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
