Júlia Sônia Borges

19 years teaching mathematics in Uberlândia

  • 🇧🇷 Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil
  • Uberlândia Grammar School
  • Since 1996
  • English, Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 30 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 960 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Júlia

If you were in my Grade 6 class, you probably remember the rainy sports day.

You taught me mathematics in 2021 at Uberlândia Grammar School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Truly.
