I taught English literature and mathematics at Pioneer Girls' School, Manukau. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Julia: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
