I teach civil engineering at Cologne Polytechnic since 2006, and supervised 14 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
What gifts mean to Julia: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
