I taught history at Mount Pleasant Grammar School in Sacramento from 1994 to 2009. Most days I taught Year 9, and my door was open at lunch.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Julia: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me history in 2023 at Mount Pleasant Grammar School. I still remember the rainy sports day. Truly.
