For 24 years I was the biology teacher at Lotus High School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Julia: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
