Júlia Dantas
Carpentry, done properly
- 🇧🇷 Santos, São Paulo, Brazil
- The Santos Works
- Since 1981
- Portuguese
I've worked in carpentry since 1981. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 2,610 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 12 years later for another job.
More about Júlia
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Júlia: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
