For nine years I was the English literature teacher at Edinburgh Middle School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Julia
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Julia: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
