I've been a nurse for 20 years, most of them in midwifery at Düsseldorf Children's Hospital in Düsseldorf. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I've held a lot of hands. I wouldn't change a thing.
More about Julia
I still get cards from families years later. They're pinned to my fridge.
Areas of care
What gifts mean to Julia: A gift would go toward blankets and small comforts for patients without family.
