Júlia Ana Monteiro
Keeper of the rare books
- 🇧🇷 Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil
- Hillcrest Reading Room
- 2001 to 2016
- English, Spanish
For 15 years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Hillcrest Reading Room.
Some of my favorite visitors were children who came for the heating and stayed for the books.
More about Júlia
I still remember the favorites of every regular.

What gifts mean to Júlia: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
