Juan M. Nava

Helping people break into design

  • 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
  • Victory Association
  • 1982 to 2012
  • Spanish, English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,590 people through Victory Association. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Juan

Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.

What gifts mean to Juan: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
