Juan L. Cortés
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States
- Pittsburgh Trades Guild
- 2002 to 2025
- English, Spanish
My trade is pottery. I opened my own shop in 2002 in Pittsburgh and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
More about Juan
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Juan: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
