I coached netball at San Jose Football Club from 2003 to 2014. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
What gifts mean to Juan: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
