Joyce Nabirye Mutua
19 years teaching economics in Mwanza
- 🇹🇿 Mwanza, Mwanza, Tanzania
- Bayview High School
- 1986 to 2014
- English, Swahili
I taught economics at Bayview High School in Mwanza from 1986 to 2014. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Joyce
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
