Joyce N. Thornton
38 years teaching geography in Tallahassee
- 🇺🇸 Tallahassee, Florida, United States
- Since 2000
- English
For 26 years I have been the geography teacher at Tallahassee Secondary School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Joyce
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
