I taught drama at Hope Secondary School in Quezon City from 1998 to 2016. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 610 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Joyce
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
